Marysville Woman Sentenced In Shooting Death of Husband
MARYSVILLE, Kan. (AP) A Marysville woman has been sentenced to nearly 15 years in prison in the death of her husband.
Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt said 25-year-old Amanda Baynton was sentenced Tuesday for second-degree intentional murder and aggravated assault.
Baynton pleaded no contest to the charges in January in the June 2011 death of her husband, 24-year-old Derek Bjorn Baynton.
Marysville police have said Derek Baynton died after being shot several times at their home.
