The Pawnee County Commissioners met Tuesday. Commissioners reviewed the Union contract along with the Southeast Nebraska Development District Newsletter.
County Assessor Jonathan Bailey met with the Board regarding two tax list corrections, which were approved.
County Treasurer Cheryl Dahlgren met with Commissioners about use of the Drivers Examiners room. She noted the room is to be secure and used only for the Drivers License Examiners. Commissioners agreed and will move the Emergency Manager and Zoning Manager to the board meeting room. Dahlgren also noted that an issue with the Pawnee County website has been resolved.
Highway Superintendent Chris Rauner presented the One and Six Year road Plan to the Board. Rauner also expressed that he wants to create a uniform plan for rocking roads so there is no questions in someone comes in and wants rock on a road. Rauner also noted the Fracture Critical bridge inspections have been completed.
