The Nemaha Central USD 115 Board of Education will hold a hearing Wednesday evening on the proposal to close the St. Benedict Elementary School.
The hearing will take place at 7 p.m. in the gym at B & B Junior/Senior High School in Baileyville.
Superintendent Darrel Kohlman says the public will have an opportunity to present both oral and written comments to the board on the proposed closure..
Kohlman said the board will then decide whether to close the school at their March 12th meeting.
If approved by the board, the school would close at the end of the current school year.
