The Hiawatha City Commission will meet Monday evening, even though city hall will be closed Monday in observance of President’s Day.
The commission will consider bids for employee health, dental and vision insurance.
The commission will also consider a new ambulance contract. Duke Koeperich is taking over the Town and Country Ambulance Service from current owners/operators Jim and Lana Reigle as of March 1st.
In addition, the commission will consider mowing bids and discuss tennis court repairs
The meeting will begin at 5:35 Monday evening at the Hiawatha City Hall.
The Horton City Commission will hold their regular meeting Tuesday evening due to the President’s Day holiday.
Area courthouses will be closed Monday in observance of the holiday—including those in Atchison, Brown, Doniphan, Nemaha and Jackson Counties.
