The Nemaha Natural Resources District Board of Directors meets in regular session at 7:00 p.m. Thursday in Tecumseh.
During the meeting, the board will get staff reports, including an update on the Buck and Duck Creek Watershed Project.
During the standing committee reports, the board will discuss a review of the district’s groundwater rules and regulations as they pertain to the application, evaluation, and approval of well permits.
Consideration will be given to revisions to the park mowing contract with Stan Borcher to include new areas at Iron Horse Trail Lake. Discussion will take place on Sericea Lespedeza problems and future livestock grazing at Kirkman’s Cove Recreation Area. The board will review a report from V-and-K Engineering on proposed improvements and repairs to the Steamboat Trace Trail.
The Executive Committee report includes a review of the district’s salary schedule and discussion on the employee wellness program.
