Wednesday morning, Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse asked for the public's help in locating a suspect; and, within hours, the 33-year-old Meriden man was in custody.
Ryan James Cook was wanted on a Jackson County Warrant in connection with a January 20th burglary committed at a rural Jackson County farm.
The warrant was issued for burglary and theft of a number of tools, and chainsaws, believed to have been stolen from a machine shed.
Morse says, with the pressure increasing in the search for Cook, he ultimately decided to turn himself in(Play Audio 18 secs)
Cook is currently held in the Jackson County Jail on 30-thousand-dollars bond.
Morse says the investigation into the case is continuing, and it's likely that more arrests could be made in connection with the burglary.
