Observers are calling it an impressive site, as Holton's Banner Creek Reservoir is again serving as home to a pair of bald eagles.
Jamie Claycamp, Executive Director of the Holton/Jackson County Chamber of Commerce, speaking on behalf of the Jackson County Tourism Council, says the eagles are, again, proving to be a popular attraction(Play Audio 19 secs)
Claycamp says while observation of the eagles is encouraged, visitors to Banner Creek are told to respect their habitat, and view from a distance(Play Audio 26 secs)
Adding to the availability of viewing properly is the nearly completed Banner Creek Science Center(Play Audio 32 secs)
Eagles, which mate for life, may live 30 years in the wild, and are known to return to the same nest year after year.
