(KLZA)-- Richardson County Commissioners discussed several proposed change orders for the County Law Enforcement / Jail facility with Sheriff Don Pounds during their July 26th meeting.
Commissioners approved a resolution to establish a petty cash fund for the Sheriff, to be used for set-up on an ATM machine at the Jail / Law Enforcement Center for the public to have available when posting bond and also for use by inmates to purchase items from the jail commissary.
No action was taken on the proposed change order to add a kitchen to the facility at a cost of nearly $235,000 or the change order proposed for a break room with a price tag of more than $15,000.
A change order for the installation of intercoms at an estimated cost of just over $10,000 was approved.
