(KAIR)--A foundation group lead by Kansas philanthropist Lamar Hunt Jr., along with the Loretto Foundation, has offered their support to the on-campus missionary initiatives of Benedictine College, as well as the Fellowship of Catholic University Students.
In a statement released Thursday, Hunt said that he wanted “to promote programs that strengthen families, especially those programs that address root causes of poverty...we support a broad vision of health that includes spiritual, emotional, physical, social, and economic well-being.”
Hunt's contributions are vital to the work of FOCUS, with the missionary goals of the group being enabled primarily through the work of organizations like the Loretto Foundation.
