(KNZA)--The boil water advisory for the Lakeside Village Improvement District of the City of Ozawkie has been lifted.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment gave the all clear Tuesday after tests ruled out any evidence of contamination in the public water supply in the Jefferson County location.
The advisory was issued by the city due to lake levels being high enough to allow untreated water to enter the system, causing bacterial contamination.
