Light Rain Won't Dampen Brown Co Relay
06/11/2015

(KNZA)--The Brown County Relay For Life is planned for Friday night, running from 6:00 until midnight Saturday at the Hiawatha High School Track.

The following is a statement from the relay's organizers regarding inclement weather plans for the annual event:

If we have light rain showers or generally wet conditions from daytime rain, expect to see some umbrellas, galoshes and raincoats circling the track!  Depending on the wet infield and track conditions, we may need to modify some of the activities, but Relay For Life will go as planned, unless there is threatening weather such as lightening or heavy rains.  If such weather occurs, the event will be called off, and portions of the event (Silent Auction for example) would possibly be rescheduled at a future date.
