(KAIR)--A two vehicle wreck in Atchison County Saturday afternoon sends two to the hospital.
Sheriff Jack Laurie says it happened at the intersection of 262nd Road and Rawlins Road, approximately two miles south of Warnock lake just before 3:00. 58-year old Savannah, MO resident Thomas Boyes entered the intersection after stopping at a stop sign on Rawlins Road when he collided with a vehicle driven by 52-year-old Brad Carter of Cameron, MO who was traveling west on 262nd Road.
A passenger in Boyes' vehicle, 77-year-old Joyce Boyes was transported to the Atchison Hospital with a possible head injury. Carter was also transported for precautionary purposes after complaining of back pain.
Thomas Boyes was cited for failure to yield.
