(KNZA)--Two Holton FFA Chapter members are named to serve as State FFA Officers.
The selection of the leadership for 2015-2016 came Friday during the final day of the State FFA Convention at Kansas State University.
Named as FFA President is Karl Wilhelm who was among 18 candidates seeking the position which represents more than 8,800 Kansas FFA members.
Karl is the son of Kevin and Brenda Wilhelm.
Holton's Dean Klahr was named as FFA Secretary for 2015-2016 on the convention's final day. He is the son of Dennis and Eunice Klahr.
Wilhelm and Klahr will serve on a team of six officers who will travel across the state sharing their passion for agriculture, leadership and service.
Alex Bartel and Jason Larison serve as FFA Advisors for both leaders.
