(KNZA)--The recent heavy rains are the apparent reason for the closing of two Doniphan County roads.
According to a text alert early Thursday afternoon, the county's Road and Bridge Department made the decision to close 180th Road, west of Severance, and 150th Road, west of K-7.
The closures follow a report presented to the Doniphan County Commission this week by County Road Superintendent Bob (E-DEE) Edie.
The report outlines the list of tube and road repairs made necessary due to the onslaught of rain.
