(KAIR)--A new court date has been set in the case of a Muscotah woman accused of abusing her three month old son.
22-year-old Heidi Pace made a first appearance with her attorney John Kurth in Atchison County District Court Monday afternoon, and Judge Martin Asher set a status hearing date for June 1st.
Pace was arrested last month after a social worker with Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City reported to the Atchison County Sheriff's Office that a child was being treated for injuries believed to have been the result of abuse.
Pace remains in the Atchison County Jail, held on a $100,000 bond.
