(KLZA)-- The Pawnee City Council members tabled action on wastewater rates when they met Monday evening. The Council reviewed updates on the 2014 Utility Cost of Service Analysis & Rate Design by JEO Engineers. The Council wants to meet first with C.J. Foods Incorporated prior to making any changes to the rates.
Bob Miller with the Pawnee City, Fairview Golf Club met with the Council. The Council agreed to continue to write off up to $500 worth of water bills for the golf course for 2015.
Council members approved the Handi-Bus Agreement with the County at a cost of $3,200 which is the same amount as last year. An update was presented on the Gaston nuisance property at 1138 G Street. The house has been razed and once a dumpster is emptied and returned the garage on the property will be torn down.
The second meeting in May has been moved to Tuesday, May 26th because of Memorial Day on May 25th.
