(KNZA)--The Brown County Commission plans to interview three applicants for the position of County Appraiser.
County Commission Chairman Warren Ploeger says two will be interviewed Thursday and one this upcoming Monday.
The three were selected for interviews from among four applicants for the job.
The position became open in late February following the unexpected death of Paula Jones who had held the position the last six years.
Anna Porter, with the state Property Valuation Division, is assisting the county in filling the void until a new appraiser is hired.
