Personnel Moves Approved by Auburn School Board

(KLZA)--The Auburn Board of Education approved two resignations and two new hires this week.

The resignations of fifth grade teacher Susan Pease and Social Studies teacher Bryce Roth who was also the varsity boys basketball head coach. 

Derrick Bissitt has been hired to teach social studies and will be the new boys basketball head coach. Bissitt is currently teaching and coaching in Concordia, Kansas.  Zac Lempka was hired as a 5th grade teacher.  Lempka is from Sterling. 

There is still a physical education position to be filled.  Superintendent Kevin Reiman also reports that Tony Janssen will be the new varsity football head coach for the Bulldogs. 

The Auburn School Board did approve a Mid-Term graduation request for Taylor Hall.  She wants to graduate in December, 2015 and enroll in college in January, 2016 for college softball.
