(KNZA)--A two-vehicle wreck at the intersection of K-238 and 170th Road in Doniphan County Tuesday afternoon sent a Troy man to the hospital.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 56-year-old James Clary, Jr. was northbound on K-238 about one mile west of Elwood when his pickup truck was struck by a van traveling east across the highway shortly after 1:30.
Clary was transported to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph for treatment of unspecified injuries. A passenger, 60-year-old Troy resident Carl Kostman, received possible injuries but the Patrol report doesn’t indicate he was transported for hospitalized treatment. The driver of the van, 26-year-old Wathena resident Kacey Sutton, was not hurt.
The Patrol says all the occupants were wearing seatbelts.
