(KLZA)-- When you drive by 15th and Stone Street in Falls City you will notice lots of activity at a building on the south end of the block. The Library and Community Foundation of Richardson County Inc. has purchased that building.
According to a member of the Foundation Board the building will be used for storage of art works and items currently housed at the Falls City Library and Arts Center.
With the growing collection of items owned by the Library and Community Foundation of Richardson County, there is a need for more space to store the items.
The building is being remodeled and will be climate controlled and will provide safe place to store the artworks and other items when not on display in the Falls City Library and Arts Center.
No tax dollars have been spent for the purchase of the building and remodeling project.
