(MSC News)--Residents of Highland are reminded that the power will go out for several hours late Wednesday night.
That word from Westar Energy, which states in a news release that the outage will begin around 11:00 Wednesday night and last for nearly four hours.
Residents of the Doniphan County community had previously been notified of the outage in a letter sent by the company.
Westar says the outage is necessary to allow crews to safely replace a damaged span of wire that supplies electricity to Highland.
