(KAIR)--An Atchison woman, accused of check theft, has entered a plea to amended charges in the case.
24-year-old Cinnamon Cash pleaded no contest Friday in Atchison County District Court to four counts of theft by deception and one count of misdemeanor theft.
Cash was originally charged with four counts of forgery and one count of misdemeanor theft.
Sentencing was set for March 30th.
Cash, along with her accomplice, 18-year-old Atchison resident Rachel Sutton, was arrested in late November of last year after a police investigation showed they were involved in the theft of several personal checks from a residence. Four of the checks had been cashed at a local convenience store earlier that month.
