(KNZA)--The name of the Pottawatomie County Jail inmate who died this week has been made public.
He's identified, in a press release issued by Sheriff Greg Riat, as 25-year-old Andrew Brown of Wamego.
Riat on Wednesday said that while foul play is not suspected in Brown's death, the KBI has opened an investigation.
Brown was found unresponsive just after midnight Wednesday by a Jail Officer who was making the rounds.
Brown was pronounced dead after he was transported to the Wamego City Hospital.
