Mound City School Board Extends Principal's Contracts

(KLZA)-- The Mound City School Board met last week. During the morning the Board members did their annual classroom visits. They complimented the staff of the district and noted what an asset it is for the Mound City School District to be able to provide an Early Childhood Special Education program. 

The Board accepted the resignation of 3rd grade teacher Cheryl Mauderly. She is moving to Iowa.  

Following a closed session the Board approved adding an additional year to the contracts of Principals Jan Seitz and Korey Miles contracts. 

Superintendent Ken Eaton provided an update on the building project at the Mound City School.  He noted the school is considering a lighting upgrade with new LED lighting through a rebate program.
