(KMZA)--A head-on collision on K-13 Highway in Pottawatomie County early Friday afternoon claimed the life of a Blaine man.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 57-year-old Warren Berg was northbound about 12 ½ north of Manhattan when for an unknown reason his car drifted across the center line and struck a southbound pickup head-on shortly after 1.
Berg, who was wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the pickup, 61-year-old Westmoreland resident Rickie Maginness, was not hurt nor was a passenger in his vehicle.
