(KLZA)-- The Richardson County Spelling Bee was held Tuesday evening at Falls City Middle School.
In the 7th and 8th grade division Stephen Epperson an 8th grader at Falls City Middle School placed first followed by Brody Bindle, also an 8th grader at Falls City Middle School.
Third place went to Falls City Middle School 7th grader Maggie McNeely and fourth place to Falls City Middle School student Keldon Campbell.
In the 5th and 6th Grade Division the top spellers were:
1st Place Eryn Snethen Falls City Middle School 6
2nd Place Taryn Coronado Falls City South School 5
3rd Place Lindsey McNeely Falls City South School 5
4th Place Abby Harms Falls City Middle School 6
The top speller in the 7th and 8th Grade Division is eligible for the Midwest Spelling Bee in Omaha on Saturday, March 14. Due to a conflict the second place finisher Brody Bindle will represent Richardson County at the Omaha competition.
