(KNZA)--Doniphan County Ambulance District #1 is seeking a funding increase from the county in order to hire a full-time assistant director.
Director Matt McKittrick made the request to the Doniphan County Commission Monday.
He requested the county increase its annual payment to the city of Troy for operations of the ambulance service from $74,000 to $94,000 beginning January 1st, 2016.
The board took no action pending a review of the current agreement with the city.
And following an executive session, the Commission voted to place an advertisement for the employment of a part-time economic development director for Doniphan County.
