Grants to be Sought for Falls City Park Improvements
02/04/2015

(KLZA)-- The Falls City Council Monday evening  granted City Administrator Gary Jorn permission to apply for grants to build a walking trail around Pioneer Park. Jorn noted the sidewalks around the park are not in good shape.

Jorn said Pioneer Park is the only one in the city with handicap accessible play equipment.  He also noted the park is used by residents of Pioneer Plaza and in the summer when the Lutheran Church runs its free meal program for youth in the community.

Pioneer Park is the only park in the City that has not had any equipment updates in the past decade.
