(KMZA)--Three people were injured in a two-vehicle wreck on U.S. 36 Highway in Nemaha County Friday morning.
According to the Nemaha County Sheriff’s Department, 82-year-old Seneca resident Carolyn Haverkamp was eastbound, about a ½ mile east of L Road, when she attempted to turn into a private driveway on the north side of the road. A westbound vehicle driven by 79-year-old Wathena resident Donald Meng struck Haverkamp’s vehicle as it crossed into the westbound lane.
Both drivers and a passenger in Meng’s vehicle were transported to hospitals by private vehicle.
The wreck was reported about 9:15 Friday morning.
