(KMZA)--The owners of a vacant former dental clinic in Seneca have been given until March 18th to demolish and remove the structure.
The Seneca City Council last week approved a resolution finding that that the building at 30 North 5th Street is a nuisance and setting the deadline for the owners, Dr. David and Susan Bowman, to demolish the structure.
Following a hearing at their January 7th meeting, the Council had tabled action on the resolution in order to give the owners time to explore alternatives.
If the building isn't removed by the deadline, the city will demolish the structure and the costs will be put on the tax rolls.
The city has received numerous complaints about the property.
