(KNZA)--St. Joseph police are investigating a shooting outside the North Belt Wal-Mart store Monday night that left one person injured.
KQ2-TV reports police responded to the store shortly after 8.
Police Sgt. Richard Eaton said apparently two white males got into an altercation by the north doors and one of the men fired a weapon at the other.
The victim was struck in the upper torso and was transported to Mosaic Life Care by a private vehicle. Eaton said the injuries appeared to be serious.
At last report, a suspect wasn't in custody.
