(KAIR)--Muscotah native Erik Dylan will be coming home this summer to take part in one of the area's biggest events.
The Amelia Earhart Festival Committee announced Monday that Dylan will be opening Lakefest 2015. He is scheduled to preform a short set before Cassadee Pope takes the stage, followed by Easton Corbin and headliner, Eli Young Band.
Dylan moved to Nashville nearly ten years ago, and has written over four hundred songs to date. He has been supporting acts such as Dwight Yoakam, Reckless Kelly, and Thompson Square.
Lakefest is scheduled to take place July 17th, at Atchison's Warnock Lake.
