(KLZA)-- Southeast Nebraska Community Action Partnership, Inc. and Falls City Housing Agency are proud to announce that they have teamed up to offer a RentWise class in Falls City. The goal of RentWise is to educate renters to help them find and keep quality rental housing.
Participants will learn how to effectively communicate with landlords and neighbors, budget, find an apartment, and take care of their home. Many participants report an improvement in their housing situation after completing the class.
The RentWise class will be divided into two sessions held at East View Apartments on January 13 and 15, 2015. Sessions will begin at 6 p-m and end at 10 p-m each night. Participants who attend both sessions will receive a certificate of completion. During the sessions, SENCA’s trained instructors will walk participants through the entire rental process.
The RentWise class is free and open to anyone who is interested.
The deadline to register for the class is January 6, 2015. To request an application, or learn more about the program, please contact Anita Kimpston, SENCA Housing Administrative Assistant, at (402) 862-2411 ext. 104 or toll free at 888-313-5608 ext. 104. Applications may also be picked up at East View Apartments or SENCA’s Richardson County Outreach Office.
