Nebraska Republican Leader Stepping Aside
12/30/2014

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - The Nebraska Republican Party chairman says he will leave the post in March.

J.L. Spray, of Lincoln, told the Lincoln Journal Star that he's informed other party leaders that he won't seek re-election at the state central committee meeting on March 21. He's been chairman since March 2013.

Spray says he's stepping aside so he can devote more time to family and his law practice.
