(KNZA)--A pipeline project means delays for Everest motorists on Tuesday.
The Kansas Department of Transportation says northbound and southbound K-20, from Elm Street to Pine Street, will be reduced to one lane for both directions between 7:00 in the morning until 4:00 in the afternoon.
The lane reductions are needed for a Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline utility project.
Traffic will be directed through the work zone by a flagger operation, with motorists told to expect minor delays during the day-long closure. Alternate routes should be used if possible.
The work in the Brown County community is contingent on Tuesday's weather conditions.
