(KAIR)--No injuries for the driver, but cattle were killed, as the result of a Thursday evening Atchison County accident.
According to Sheriff Jack Laurie, Leavenworth resident William Raymond was southbound on U.S. Highway 73, at 210th Road just before 7:45, when he struck cattle that were in the middle of the highway. The impact killed three of the animals.
The owner of the cattle has not yet been determined.
