(KNZA)--Dozens of nativity scenes will be on display at the Fairview Community Building on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00.
The display is being held in conjunction with the annual “Fairview – Lights UP!” celebration and is free and open to the public. Door prizes will also be given away and refreshments will be served.
A nativity is scene is the center of many families décor during the Christmas season. The scenes that will be on display represent a broad cross section of such sets used by many local families as part of their Christmas celebration. The scenes which originate from all over the U.S. and the world, represent the birth of Christ on Christmas Eve.
The display is sponsored by the Northeast Kansas Lutheran Partnership.
