(KNZA)--One of two men involved in a Troy vehicle crash has died.
According to an obituary from the Harman-Rohde Funeral Home in Troy, Jacob Meng died Sunday at the age of 19.
The Kansas Chief reports that Meng was the driver of a pick-up truck that smashed through a guardrail and then crashed into the southwest corner of the Troy High School ag building on the night of November 17th.
He suffered serious injuries requiring helicopter transport to the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.
Meng's passenger, identified as Sammy Whetstine, also suffered injuries in the wreck.
Meng was a 2014 graduate of Troy High School and is survived by his parents, Norman and Julie Meng, along with two brothers and his maternal grandparents.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 Friday morning at the Christ Lutheran Church in Wathena.
