The Richardson County Farm Service Agency is hosting Farm Bill meetings on the following days:
Thursday, December 4, 9:00-11:00 am or 6:00-8:00 pm
Monday, December 8, 9:00-11:00 am
Tuesday, December 9, 9:00-11:00 am
Thursday, December 11, 6:00-8:00 pm
Meeting attendees will learn about Farm Service Agency (FSA) Farm Bill programs including Price Loss Coverage (PLC), Agricultural Risk Coverage - County (ARC-CO), Agricultural Risk Coverage - Individual (ARC-IC), and highlights of other available programs and eligibility requirements.
Producers should attend one of these sessions if they missed the meeting in Humboldt on November 18 or if they want to hear the information again, as repetition is helpful.
The meetings will be held at the Falls City USDA Service Center at 502 E 14th Street in Falls City. Due to limited seating space, the meetings are limited to the first 15 people who sign up for each session. Participants can register by contacting the Richardson County FSA Office at 402-245-2401 extension 2.
Learning more about ARC and PLC is extremely important for producers who must make a one-time decision about base and yield updates as well as ARC or PLC election and enrollment decisions.
Persons with disabilities who require accommodations to attend or participate in this meeting/event/function should contact CED Shawna Mitchell at 402-245-2401 extension 2 or Federal Relay Service at 1-800-877-8339.
