(KAIR)--An Atchison woman was arrested Wednesday night after allegedly causing a disturbance and threatening employees at a local restaurant.
According to Police Chief Mike Wilson, 41-year-old Sherry Frad entered the McDonalds located in the 100 block of Eighth Street just before 7:30. She appeared to be intoxicated, and allegedly got into a confrontation with several employees before allegedly telling four employees behind the counter to get on the floor because she had a gun. A nearby customer called police, and Frad was taken into custody soon after.
Wilson says that no weapon was found in her possession.
Frad was booked into the Atchison County Jail on charges including criminal restraint, aggravated assault, and disorderly conduct.
