New Ownership For Horton Firm

(KNZA)--New ownership for a Horton based safety software and consulting firm.

That word comes in press release revealing that RCI Safety has been acquired by global consultancy BST, following completion of the deal by BST's parent company, DEKRA.

RCI Safety President and CEO, Ron Demaray, says the ownership change will allow “significant growth opportunities for both the firm's services and staff.”

Along with Demaray, of Horton, the previous local owners of RCI Safety are listed as CIO Tim Boyer, of Hiawatha, and CFO Sandy Reese, of White Cloud.

Despite the acquisition, RCI plans to operate with its current employees in both Horton and Kansas City.

BST, based in California, has assisted more than 3,000 client sites in 72 countries improve safety performance. The global safety consulting and solutions firm encompasses a range of industries, including mining, petroleum, chemical, metals, paper, food, utilities, railroads, healthcare, and government.
