(KNZA)--A Saturday night domestic disturbance on the Kickapoo Reservation escalates to a fight that leaves one man injured and two others arrested.
According to Kickapoo Tribal Chief of Police Michael Dougherty, his officers responded to 1120 Goldfinch Road, shortly after 11:00, and found the victim lying in the back yard of the residence. Suffering possible severe injuries, he was transported by ambulance to the Horton Community Hospital and then transferred to a Topeka hospital for further treatment of his injuries.
The investigation into what happened moved forward, and led to the arrests of 48-year-old Robert Winsea and 21-year-old Robert Savago. Both men were taken into custody on charges of aggravated battery and domestic battery.
They were booked into the Brown County Jail.
The name of the victim is not made public.
Dougherty says his officers were assisted by the Sac and Fox Police Department and the Brown County Sheriff's Office.
