(KAIR)--A three vehicle wreck in Atchison Sunday afternoon, sends five, including four juveniles to the hospital.
Lieutenant Tim Stout from the Atchison Police Department reports that it took place just before 5:00 at the intersection of U.S. 59 Highway and Sixth Street. 29-year-old Atchison resident Amy Allen was southbound on Sixth Street when she was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound on U.S. 59 Highway driven by 42-year-old Kerri Fuemmeler of Rushville, Missouri. The impact caused Allen's vehicle to hit a third vehicle, driven by 22-year-old Courtney Calhoon of Atchison, before rolling onto its side.
Allen, along with three juveniles in her vehicle, and one juvenile in Calhoon's vehicle were transported to the Atchison Hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
Stout says that Fuemmeler had failed to stop at a stoplight just before the wreck took place.
