(KLZA)-- University of Nebraska Board of Regents candidate Steve Glenn from Pawnee City made a campaign swing through Falls City last week.
Glenn says he could use his position on the Board of Regents to help Southeast Nebraska, utilizing university resources to support communities in the area.
Touting his experience creating businesses in Southeast Nebraska Glenn has developed a plan to help make education at the University more affordable. Under the plan students that graduate with a least a “B” average in four years and stay in the state 10 years, an income tax tuition credit could be used to pay off the tuition.
Glenn says he would welcome the opportunity to represent Southeast Nebraska on the University of Nebraska Board of Regents. That he hopes to be a good listener and a great advocate for Southeast Nebraska on the University of Nebraska Board of Regents.
Glenn is running against Rob Schafer, who is also a Pawnee County native in the race for the Board of Regents.
