(KAIR)--Decision 2014 is fast approaching, and that includes the election for the District One Atchison County Commission race.
Incumbent Republican Jeff Schuele is challenged by Democratic candidate Charles Purdue.
As a service of KAIR 93.7 FM and MSC News.net, both candidates have agreed to an on-air question and answer forum, which will be heard weekdays as part of the 8:00 morning news and the Noon Hour Report from Monday, October 27th through Monday, November 3rd. Each segment will feature both Schuele and Purdue answering one question submitted from the public.
Questions will be accepted now through noon Tuesday, October 21st and can be emailed to votekansas@gmail.com.
The final decision on which 5 questions will be asked will be decided by the staff of KNZA, Incorporated.
Each candidate also plans to submit one question that will be answered by his opponent.
Candidates will not see the questions in advance of being asked to answer during a recorded question and answer session, with all answers to be kept to a maximum of 90-seconds.
Election Day is November 4th.
