(KNZA)-- Few details are being released at this time after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of the McDonald’s Restaurant in Hiawatha Friday morning.
Hiawatha Police Captain Dennis Entriken said the female was transported to the Hiawatha Community Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, after she was struck by the front door area of the restaurant.
Emergency personnel were called to the scene shortly before 10:20.
Entriken says the accident remains under investigation.
