(KAIR)--A cooking related fire at an Atchison residence Tuesday night causes little damage but sends one to the hospital.
According to Atchison Fire Captain Ted Graf, crews responded to the home in the 15-hundred block of Atchison Street just before 7:30, but the fire had already been extinguished.
An occupant of the home was transported to the Atchison Hospital for observation, but did not suffer any serious injuries.
Names were not immediately released.
