(KNZA)--There’s a vacancy on the Doniphan West USD 111 board of education and applications are being sought to fill the position.
The open seat is the at-large position, which can be filled by any person that resides in the district.
Those interested in applying for the seat are asked to submit a letter of interest stating why they wish to become a board member and qualifications for the position.
The letters can be dropped off at the Board of Education office located at the primary building in Highland or mailed to the office at Box 308, 2002 West Illinois.
The deadline for applications is September 30th.
