(KMZA)--A December 9th jury trial has been set for the founder a drug prevention and safe choices program in Marshall County facing forgery and theft charges.
Joleen Ayon, of Waterville, pleaded “ not guilty” Thursday in Marshall County District Court to 15 counts of forgery and one count of felony theft after waiving her preliminary hearing.
Ayon is the founder of the Waterville Teen Hope Center.
She’s accused of taking over $68,000 from the Linda J. Conderman Trust between November 20th of last year and June 6th of this year by altering and endorsing personal checks of Conderman without permission.
Several of the checks were allegedly made payable to the Teen Hope Center.
She was arrested in June.
