(KLZA)-- 29-year old Jeremy Vice of Falls City will serve concurrent sentences behind bars as punishment for two crimes. Vice was sentenced this week in Richardson County District Court.
Vice entered a no contest plea in each case. On a felony charge of aiding consummation of a felony Jeremy Vice was sentenced to a period of 20 – 48 months in the Nebraska Department of Corrections. He was allowed credit for 168 days served in jail. Court costs of $153.50 were assessed.
Vice was charged with breaking into a locked safe that another person had stolen and brought to him.
On a misdemeanor charge of theft by unlawful taking or disposition Jeremy Vice was sentenced to a year in the Richardson County Jail. The jail sentenced will be served concurrently to the prison term with the sentence served in a Nebraska State Prison. Court costs of $153.50 were assessed in this case as well.
Vice was charged in connection with the theft of a set of French doors in March of this year.
